Rumours have been circulating across social media suggesting that Devara 2, the much anticipated second part of Jr NTR’s pan Indian action saga, may have been shelved. While such speculation has sparked concern among fans, it’s important to understand what has actually been reported and what remains unverified.
Where Did the Rumours Start?
The buzz began after a few unconfirmed posts claimed that Devara 2, the much awaited sequel to the blockbuster Devara: Part 1 has been shelved creating confusion among fans of Jr. NTR.
As of now, there is no official statement from the makers, director Koratala Siva, or Jr NTR indicating that Devara 2 has been cancelled or shelved. In fact, Devara 2 is very much ON and the makers remain fully committed to delivering the grand vision they initially set out to create. Big budget films often undergo schedule reshuffles, script polishing, and production re planning that can be misunderstood as “shelving.”
It’s important to remember that major productions especially multi part films go through several phases of planning before official announcements are made. Just because the team is maintaining silence publicly does not mean the project is stalled.
Fans are still waiting for an official clarification from the Devara team. With no update from the makers, the silence has only added to the confusion. Meanwhile, Jr NTR has already shifted his focus to his upcoming film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. The next schedule is expected to begin in December.
