
Fans of Telugu superstar Jr NTR have a big reason to cheer. The shooting for Devara Part 2 is set to start in May 2026. This news comes straight from producer.
Producer Sudhakar Mikkilineni, who backed the first part has confirmed the update. He said the team is working hard to make Devara 2 even bigger and better.
Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva and released in September 2024, became a massive hit, grossing ₹441.37 crore worldwide. The film featured Jr NTR in dual roles, alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Fans are also eagerly waiting to hear about new additions to the star cast. Director Koratala Siva is finalizing the script to continue the exciting story from where Part 1 ended. Jr NTR will return in his dual roles, bringing more action and emotion.
Music and background score are also expected to play a major role in Devara 2. The first film’s music received a strong response, and the team is keen to continue that success. Work on the soundtrack is likely to begin alongside filming.
With a 2027 release plan, the makers are targeting a wide theatrical release across multiple languages. This shows the confidence the producers have in the project’s scale and appeal. The sequel is expected to attract not only fans of the first part but also a wider audience.
