Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Sikandar is set to release on March 30, 2025, during Eid. Fans were hoping for a big hit, as Salman’s Eid movies usually bring huge crowds. But as of March 28, 2025, the advance booking for Day 1 is not going well. The numbers are low, and it’s making people wonder if the film will do as well as expected.
Advance Sales Update
So far, Sikandar has earned around ₹10 crore (Including Block Seats) in advance booking for its first day across India with over 13,000 shows planned. These numbers might be fine for a smaller movie, but for a Salman Khan Eid release, they’re disappointing. His last film, Tiger 3, made ₹28 crore in pre-sales and opened with ₹44 crore in 2023. At this rate, Sikandar might make ₹25-30 crore on Day 1, which is much less than what fans hoped for.
Big cities like Mumbai and Delhi are buying some tickets, but smaller towns—where Salman has a lot of fans—aren’t showing much interest.
A Test for Salman
Sikandar is a special movie for Salman. After some recent films didn’t do as well, this one, made by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, is meant to be a strong comeback. It’s a big action film perfect for Eid. Fans are hoping it’ll be another hit like his older Eid movies.
For now, everyone’s watching to see how Salman’s Eid magic plays out this time. We’ll know more when it hits theaters on March 30.
