
Ram Charan has achieved a historic milestone at the box office with Peddi, registering the biggest solo opening of his career. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and others, with music by A.R. Rahman, this sports action drama hit screens on June 4, 2026 and delivered massive numbers across territories.
The film got off to a flying start with paid premieres, generating an impressive ₹21.60 crore gross across India. The Telugu states led the charge, contributing ₹18.25 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. Karnataka added ₹3.05 crore, while the rest of India contributed around ₹0.30 crore. These premiere figures clearly indicated the massive anticipation surrounding the film and laid the foundation for a blockbuster opening day.
On Day 1, Peddi continued its strong momentum at the box office. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana once again emerged as the biggest contributors, collecting an excellent ₹53.70 crore gross. Karnataka also delivered solid numbers with ₹5.80 crore gross, highlighting Ram Charan’s popularity beyond the Telugu speaking regions.
The Hindi version of the film collected ₹3.15 crore Net on its opening day. While the numbers are comparatively modest, they provide a decent starting point for the film in the North.
However, one of the biggest highlights of the opening day was the overseas performance. Peddi grossed a remarkable ₹27.45 crore gross, registering 2nd biggest overseas opening of Ram Charan’s career.
