Allu Arjun’s Happy re-release has turned out to be a successful event in Kerala. Even years after its original release, the film is attracting audiences back to theatres and proving the lasting popularity of actor Allu Arjun among movie lovers in the state. In just five days, the film has collected an impressive ₹1.19 crore gross at the Kerala box office.
The film had an excellent opening weekend, collecting ₹90 lakh gross in its first three days. Fans of Allu Arjun came out in large numbers to watch the movie on the big screen once again. The nostalgic value of the film, combined with Allu Arjun’s immense popularity in Kerala, helped the re-release attract strong footfalls across the state.
After the weekend, weekday collections naturally saw a decline. On Day 4, the film collected ₹14 lakh. However, the hold was still considered healthy for a re-release title. Most re-released films experience a sharp fall once the weekend ends, but Happy managed to maintain good momentum.
The positive trend continued on Day 5 as the movie collected ₹15 lakh. Interestingly, Day 5 performed better than Day 4, showing that audience interest remains strong. Such a trend is rarely seen for older films returning to theatres and highlights the special place Happy holds in the hearts of moviegoers.
