Allu Arjun’s cult romantic comedy Happy (2006), co-starring Genelia D’Souza, has made a triumphant return to theatres in its 4K re-release. The Malayalam dubbed version, titled Happy Be Happy, has emerged as a surprise box office performer in Kerala, proving that timeless storytelling and star charisma continue to draw audiences even two decades later.
The re-release began on a positive note with a combined Premiere and Day 1 collection of ₹0.30 crore. The momentum continued on Day 2 with ₹0.27 crore, followed by an even stronger performance on Day 3, when the film registered ₹0.33 crore, its highest single day collection during the first week.
