The emotional blockbuster Surya Son of Krishnan is creating magic once again in the AP/TS. Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil hit Vaaranam Aayiram starring Suriya returned to theatres on June 12, 2026. Even after being released for the fifth time, movie is showing strong demand in theatres and continuing its dream run at the box office.
On its first day, it collected a strong ₹80 lakhs gross in the Telugu states. On the second day (June 13), it added another ₹41 lakhs. Now, after just two days, the total collection stands at an impressive ₹1.21 crores. These numbers are excellent for a re-release, especially the fifth time around. Fans are calling it a “dream run” because the film is still drawing big crowds.
In Karnataka, the re-release opened with ₹4 lakhs on Day 1, followed by ₹3 lakhs on Day 2.
Suriya has a special place in Telugu cinema. People here love his acting style and sincere performances. Even after many years, his fans fill the theatres for re-releases.
