The advance booking trend for Cocktail 2 continues to remain steady as the film heads into its seventh day at the box office. Despite facing competition for screens and show allocations, continues to register good advance bookings.
As per the latest data, Cocktail 2 has sold approximately 86,912 tickets across tracked locations for Day 7, generating an advance gross of ₹1.95 crore (With Block Seats). The film currently has 8,873 scheduled shows.
For comparison, Day 6 advance booking stood at ₹2.56 crore, meaning Day 7 has witnessed a drop of around 32%. However, such a decline is expected as the film moves deeper into the weekdays. But, one of the major reasons behind the decline in Day 7 advances is the arrival of Welcome to the Jungle, whose premiere bookings have led exhibitors to allocate a number of shows to the new release. As a result, Cocktail 2 has seen a reduction in available show count in several locations.
With the second weekend approaching, all eyes will now be on how the film performs from Friday onwards. If the positive momentum continues and occupancy improves over the weekend, Cocktail 2 could witness another surge in collections and strengthen its box office position further.
