Balan: The Boy has completed its first week at the box office with a solid worldwide gross collection of ₹21.56 crore. The film has enjoyed a solid run over its first seven days, driven primarily by an excellent response in Kerala while also recording respectable collections from other regions and overseas.
The biggest contributor to the film’s success has been Kerala, where Balan collected a strong ₹10.12 crore gross in just seven days. The film received a positive response from family audiences and regular moviegoers, resulting in steady occupancy throughout the week. Word of mouth has also played an important role in maintaining collections after the opening weekend.
Outside Kerala, the film has managed decent business across South India. Karnataka contributed ₹1.33 crore gross, making it the second best performing territory for the film. Although the collections are significantly lower than Kerala, the numbers indicate a healthy response among Malayalam cinema audiences in the state.
In Tamil Nadu, Balan collected ₹76 lakh gross during its first week. The film faced competition from local releases but still managed to attract audiences through positive reviews and growing awareness. Meanwhile, the Telugu states added ₹25 lakh gross, while the Rest of India contributed another ₹35 lakh gross.
With these figures combined, Balan’s total domestic gross stands at ₹12.81 crore after seven days. In Overseas film grossed an impressive ₹8.75 crore.
Combining both domestic and overseas collections, Balan has achieved a worldwide gross of ₹21.53 crore in just seven days. Crossing the ₹20 crore milestone within the first week is an encouraging achievement and places the film in a strong position heading into its second weekend.
